FREDERICK, MD (JUNE 25, 2010) - Today the Winston-Salem Dash placed RHP Dan Remenowsky on the seven-day disabled list. There is no corresponding roster move at this time.

Remenowsky suffered a right knee injury while covering first base in the ninth inning of Thursday night's game against the Keys. He fell to the ground after tagging first base on a groundout by Felix Pie. He was able to get up and attempted to throw a warm-up pitch, but his knee buckled as he tried to push off the pitcher's rubber and he collapsed on the mound. Remenowsky then left the game and was helped off the field by the Dash's medical support staff.

The Cincinnati native was 2-1 with a 2.75 ERA and five saves in 25 games for Winston-Salem prior to the injury.

The Dash's roster is currently at 24 players, one below the Carolina League limit.

Winston plays the second of its three-game series with Frederick today at 7 p.m.

The Dash returns to BB&T Ballpark on Sunday when it opens a six-game home stand with a series against the Salem Red Sox.

The Winston-Salem Dash is the Class-A Advanced minor league affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. To purchase tickets and for more information, please call 336-714-2287 or visit www.wsdash.com .
