Daniel Nava Rehabs with the 66ers, Beach Towel Giveaway Tonight

Angels Outfield Daniel Nava begins his rehab assignment with the Inland Empire 66ers tonight when they take on the Mavericks at San Manuel Stadium with first pitch set for 7:05pm. It's also the team's Halo Road to the Show Beach Towel Giveaway presented by Paradise Wraps. The rehab is presented by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.

Nava returned to the disabled list on Monday, May 16th when he suffered a groin injury in a game against the Dodgers. Nava, who had played with the 66ers early last month, Began his career with the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays before signing a deal with the Angels during this past off-season. Nava was the fourth player in MLB history to hit a grand slam in his first at bat and the second to have done so on the first pitch.
