
Dallas Stars Return Chris Mueller to Texas Stars

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has returned center Chris Mueller on loan to Texas.
Mueller, 27, has appeared in one game for Dallas this season recording one shot and winning five out of six faceoffs (83.3%). He is third on Texas, and fourth in the AHL, with 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists) in 34 games played, leads the team with a +10 plus/minus rating and has a six-game point streak intact, posting eight points in that span (4 goals, 4 assists).
The 5-foot-11, 210-pound native of West Seneca, New York was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 8, 2013.
The Dallas Stars are in action tonight as they host the Detroit Red Wings for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop at American Airlines Center.
With their three-game road trip completed, the Texas Stars now return home to host the West Division-leading Abbotsford Heat on Friday, January 10th with a 7:30 p.m. face off at Cedar Park Center.
