
Dallas Stars Recall Mueller & Morin from Texas Stars

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has recalled centers Chris Mueller and Travis Morin from loan with Texas.
Morin, 30, is in his sixth season with the Stars organization and his ninth in professional hockey. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound forward leads the AHL with 74 points (29 goals, 45 assists) in 55 games for the Texas Stars this season and has a plus-1 rating in three games with Dallas in 2013-14. Originally selected as the ninth-round selection (263rd overall) of the 2004 NHL Draft, the Brooklyn Park, Minn., native was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 2, 2010.
Mueller, 28, has appeared in three games for Dallas this season recording four shots. He is fourth on Texas with 54 points (24 goals, 30 assists) in 58 games played and is tied for the AHL lead with 14 power play goals. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound native of West Seneca, N.Y., was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 8, 2013.
The Dallas Stars will host the Calgary Flames tonight at 7:30 p.m. at American Airlines Center.
The Texas Stars will begin a three-game road trip by traveling to Illinois to face the Chicago Wolves Saturday, March 15th at 7:00 p.m. at Allstate Arena. They will return to Cedar Park Center on Friday, March 21st as they host the Oklahoma City Barons at 7:30 p.m. Friday's game kicks off Military Appreciation Weekend presented by Round Rock Auto Group and $3 Beer & $4 Robert Mondavi Private Selection Wine Night.
