Worcester Sharks Sign Brock Higgs (R.P.I.) to An ATO

WORCESTER, MA - Worcester Sharks (@WorcesterSharks) General Manager Joe Will has announced the signing of forward Brock Higgs (R.P.I.) to an amateur tryout (ATO) agreement and that the club has recalled defenseman Kyle Bigos from the Ontario Reign (ECHL).

Brock Higgs (5-11, 180lbs) signs an ATO with Worcester after completing four seasons at Renssealer Polytechnic Institute where he recorded 91 points (27-64-91) in 137 games. The 21-year-old native of Kingston, Ontario served as an alternate captain for RPI this season and was 2nd on the club with 29 points (14-15-29) in 37 games. Higgs is expected to skate with the Worcester Sharks on Friday morning and will wear #13.

Kyle Bigos (6-4,235lbs) was recalled from the Ontario Reign (ECHL) where he posted two points (0-2-2) in 11 games along with 29 penalty minutes. Prior to Ontario, the 24 year-old-native from Upland, CA played in 40 games for the San Francisco Bulls (2-6-8) along with 64 penalty minutes. The first year pro attended the San Jose and Worcester Sharks training camps back in September after he completed four seasons at Merrimack College. Bigos is expected to skate with the Worcester Sharks on Friday morning and will wear #6.
