Dallas Stars Recall Colton Sceviour from Texas Stars

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has recalled right wing Colton Sceviour from Texas.
Sceviour, 24, leads the AHL with 21 goals and ranks second on the Stars with 35 points (21 goals, 14 assists) in 29 games. The 6-foot, 200-pound forward scored his first career NHL goal on Dec. 14, 2013 at Winnipeg and has skated in seven games for Dallas this season, registering four points (3 goals, 1 assist), 21 shots and a plus-1 rating. The native of Red Deer, Alta., was Dallas' fourth-round selection (112th overall) in the 2007 NHL Draft.
The Dallas Stars are in action tonight as they host the Montreal Canadiens for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop at American Airlines Center.
The Texas Stars continue their three-game road trip tonight with their first game of the season against the Charlotte Checkers, a 6:00 p.m. CT faceoff at Time Warner Cable Arena. Texas will return home to face the Abbotsford Heat on Friday, January 10th with a 7:30 p.m. face off at Cedar Park Center.
