In their first contest following a 12-day Christmas break, the IceCaps fell to the Sharks at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. Worcester scored three times in the second frame, including the eventual game- winner off the stick of Marek Viedensky, to win their fourth game in five tries versus the IceCaps this season. Harri Sateri made 34 saves on 35 shots before being forced from the game due to injury with seven minutes left in the third. JC Lipon and Zach Redmond scored for St. John's while Jussi Olkinuora stopped 28 shots in the loss.

STJ 3 vs MCH 1
St. John'scored a pair of goals on a four-minute powerplay in the second period en route to a 3-1 win over the Monarchs at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H. Eddie Pasquale was sharp between the pipes for St. John's and had his shutout bid foiled with 53 seconds left in the game. Will O'Neill, Andrew Gordon and Adam Lowry scored for St. John's.
Manchester's Nick Deslauriers scored from the crease with under a minute remaining in the contest.

SPR 4 vs STJ 2
The IceCaps dropped their final game of 2013 to the Northeast Division leading Falcons in a New Year's Eve Matinee at MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA. Springfield scored three consecutive goals after being down 2-1, including a power play tally by Jonathan Marchessault with just two seconds left in the second, to hand St.
John's its 13th regulation loss of the season. Kael Mouillierat had a goal and an assist for the IceCaps, while Eddie Pasquale stopped 29- of-33 shots in the loss.
