CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has reassigned left wing Francis Wathier to the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals. In addition, the Nashville Predators have reassigned left wing Kevin Henderson from Milwaukee to Texas.
Wathier, 29, has nine points (5 goals, 4 assists) and 41 penalty minutes in 48 games for Texas this season. The St. Isidore, Ontario native was drafted by Dallas in the sixth round (185th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and has spent his entire nine-year professional career under NHL contract with the Stars. Wathier inked his entry-level contract with Dallas on July 27, 2005 and has appeared in 519 career professional games, including 492 games in the AHL and 10 NHL games with the Stars.

Undrafted after playing three seasons of major junior hockey for the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL and two years of Canadian CIS hockey for the University of New Brunswick, Henderson signed his first pro contract with the NHL's San Jose Sharks on April 22, 2009. He made his NHL debut with Nashville on April 19, 2013 and scored his first career NHL goal in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. Henderson played in four total NHL games with the Predators, all last season.
