
Dallas Recalls Francis Wathier From Texas

Cedar Park, TX - The Dallas Stars announced Tuesday that left wing Francis Wathier has been recalled from the Texas Stars, Dallas' primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Wathier, 24, has played eight games for Texas so far this season, tallying four points (2g, 2a) and eight penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut with Dallas on Oct. 21, recording three shots and five penalty minutes in a 4-2 win at Anaheim. The 6-3, 208-pound left wing skated in 77 games for the Iowa Chops of the AHL in 2008-09, collecting six goals and 10 assists. Wathier was Dallas' sixth round selection (185th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Dallas Stars face the Toronto Maple Leafs Wednesday at the American Airlines Center (7:00 pm on Fox Sports Southwest).
Texas will travel to San Antonio on Friday, October 30th. The Stars return home Saturday, October 31st to host the Chicago Wolves at 7:00 pm. On Saturday, the Cedar Park Center is providing an All-You-Can-Eat special for $20.00, including a hockey ticket, hot dogs, nachos, peanuts and soft drinks. The Texas Stars will have its first Autograph Night on Sunday, November 1st when they take on the Houston Aeros at 5:00 pm. The first 2,000 fans will receive a team poster.
