Aeros Gameday: Aeros Host Bulldogs Tonight

The Houston Aeros (5-4-0-0) host the Hamilton Bulldogs (6-0-1-1) tonight, 7:05 PM at Toyota Center in the only AHL game on the schedule today. The Aeros return home after back-to-back victories in San Antonio last weekend, including a 3-2 overtime victory Saturday followed by a 2-0 shutout win on Sunday. The Bulldogs are playing the third of a three game Texas road trip. They shutout San Antonio 3-0 on Friday (10/23) and defeated the Stars 2-1 in overtime on Saturday (10/24). Houston hits the road tomorrow to play back-to-back games at Grand Rapids on Thursday and Friday.

AEROS NOTES:
G Anton Khudobin was recalled by the Wild today. Khudobin made 28 saves in the 2-0 shutout victory at San Antonio on Sunday, he is 4-2-0 on the season with a 1.77 GAA and .936 SV%.
The Aeros signed G Brett Jaeger to a PTO, Jaeger participated in the Aeros training camp in September. He comes from the Texas Brahmas and has a 1-2-0 record with a 3.48 GAA and .873 SV%.
C Andy Hilbert and C Nathan Smith returned to the lineup for the Aeros Sunday. Both players were recalled by the Wild October 13th and reassigned Saturday. Hilbert scored the game-winning-goal in the third period in Sunday's 2-0 victory over the Rampage. Hilbert has four points (2-2=4) in five games with the Aeros this season.
RW J.M. Daoust scored an ENG at San Antonio, he's tied for the team lead with three goals and leads the team with five points (3-2=5).
BULLDOGS NOTES:
The Bulldogs are the only remaining team in the AHL without a regulation loss.
LW Tom Pyatt (4-3=7) and C Brock Trotter (2-5=7) lead the team with seven points. LW Mathieu Darche leads the team with five goals.
G Curtis Sanford is 4-1-1 with two shutouts, a 1.28 GAA and .949 SV%.
