Marlies Release Goaltender Beau Erickson From PTO Contract

Jeff Jackson, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that the club has released goaltender Beau Erickson from his professional try-out contract.

Erickson, 23, appeared in one game for the Marlies during the preseason, picking up a 6-1 win against the Edinburgh Capitals on September 26 in Scotland.

The Marlies return to the Ricoh Coliseum for a two-game home stand on Friday October 30 against the Adirondack Phantoms, AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers (7:00 p.m.) and Sunday, November 1 (4:00 p.m.) against the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins, AHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Both games will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough. Fans can listen to all Toronto Marlies regular season games on THE FAN 590 or fan590.com.
