Dallas Reassigns McKenzie to Texas

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has loaned left wing Curtis McKenzie to the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

McKenzie, 24, has appeared in two games for Dallas this season and has not registered a point. In 40 games with Texas, he has registered 32 points (11-21=32), a +14 plus/minus rating and a team-leading 77 penalty minutes.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound native of Golden, British Columbia was selected by Dallas in the sixth round (159th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft.

The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars and currently in their seventh season at Cedar Park Center.
