
Penguins Reassign Loney, Seymour

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today they have reassigned forward Ty Loney and defenseman Clark Seymour to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).
Loney, in his rookie season of pro hockey, has earned five assists and registered 28 shots on goal in 23 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
The Valencia, Pa. native had 12 points (5G-7A) in 17 games with Wheeling, including a two-goal performance in his Nailers debut on Oct. 16, 2015.
Seymour set AHL career highs in goals (3), assists (2), and points (5) in his 15 games with the Penguins this season. The second-year pro scored his first AHL goal on Dec. 16, 2015 against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Seymour has appeared in 17 games for Wheeling this season, earning four goals and five assists for nine points as well as 28 penalty minutes in that time.
