John Scott Scores as IceCaps Top Crunch

St. John's IceCaps News Release


SYRACUSE, NY - John Scott scored his first goal with the IceCaps as the St. John's club topped the Syracuse Crunch 3-2 in a shootout at the War Memorial Arena in Syracuse, NY.

Michael McCarron tied the game with a power play marker with just 2:34 left in regulation, and also potted the game winner in a five-round shootout. Mark MacMillan and Victor Bartley each picked up an assist in the victory.

Rookie netminder, and CCM/AHL Player of the Week Zach Fucale turned away 27 of 29 shots and is undefeated in his last four starts.
