February 17, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Chicago Wolves News Release
The Chicago Wolves announced Wednesday that left wing Dmitrij Jaskin and goaltender Pheonix Copley have been loaned to the team by St. Louis (NHL) while Wolves goaltender Jordan Binnington has been reassigned to the Blues.
Jaskin, 22, has provided 3 goals and 7 assists in 49 games for St. Louis this season. The Omsk, Russia, native spent parts of the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons with the Wolves and delivered 19 goals and 25 assists in 60 regular-season games along with 4 goals and 5 assists in 9 Calder Cup Playoff games.
Copley joined the Blues on Jan. 31, but did not appear in a game. The 24-year-old North Pole, Alaska, native has posted an 11-11-1 record in 25 games for the Wolves this season with 3 shutouts, a 2.75 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage.
Binnington, 22, has recorded an 11-10-3 record in 25 games for the Wolves this season with 1 shutout, a 2.86 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage. He made his NHL debut in relief on Jan. 14 and notched 3 saves in 13 minutes of action.
The Wolves open a four-game homestand at 7 p.m. Thursday when the Iowa Wild visit Allstate Arena. The Military Appreciation Jersey auction, presented by Sears Home Services, resumes for that game and fans have their final chance to bid on these commemorative game-worn jerseys during Saturday's 7 p.m. Illinois Lottery Cup game against the Rockford IceHogs.
