FC Dallas News Release
DALLAS - The Dallas Burn today released the dates and matchups for the 2004 Major League Soccer season with 14 of the team's 15 home dates to be played on Saturdays. Kickoff times for the matches will be released at a later date. The Burn will open the 2004 season vs. the Colorado Rapids at 7:30 p.m. at the Cotton Bowl and will play four of its first six matches at home.
For the second consecutive year, each of the League's ten clubs will play a total of 30 games. Four games (two home, two away) against each Intra-Conference opponent as well as a home-and-home match-up against clubs outside its Conference comprise 26 of the 30 regular-season contests. The remaining four games (two home, two away), are determined based on competitive seeding, according to 2003 regular-season performances. As a result, the Burn will face New England, Columbus, DC United and the MetroStars in those remaining four games.
Dallas Burn season tickets are on sale now as the team returns to the Cotton Bowl for the 2004 season. Burn season seats start as low as $78 with full season ticket packages as well as a variety of mini-packages.
