D.C. United have selected Temple University goalkeeper Simon Lefebvre with the 21st overall pick in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas. The Black-and-Red acquired the 21st overall selection from the Philadelphia Union in exchange for their #17 2020 Allocation Ranking in a trade earlier today.
Lefebvre, a French national, made 35 appearances for Temple University over two seasons (2018-2019). The 22-year-old recorded seven clean sheets and registered 122 saves in his two seasons in NCAA.
