NORWICH, CT - Wilmer Reyes slammed a two-run home run and back in his home state of Connecticut, Matt Cleveland tossed five strong innings en route to victory as the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Short Season Class A affiliate of the Brooklyn Cyclones, stumped the Connecticut Tigers 6-1 Saturday night at Dodd Stadium.

BIG MOMENTS

Matt Cleveland allowed one unearned run over five innings en route to his second consecutive victory, yielding five hits and two walks with one strikeout. The Windsor, CT native induced a double play in the fifth to end his outing.

Wilmer Reyes went 2-6 with an RBI single in Brooklyn's four-run fifth inning to take the lead. He blasted his third Cyclones home run in the eighth, driving a two-run home run 385 feet over the left field wall.

Josh Hejka made his Cyclones debut, retiring all four batters he faced.
