STORYLINES:
Thanksgiving on the Road: Beginning Wednesday night, the first-place Cyclones will play four games in the span of five nights against three different teams. First up, Cincinnati battles the Reading Royals in the opener of a two game-set. Last year, the Cyclones went 2-1-0 against Reading with one of those victories coming at the Sovereign Center. Jarrod Skalde's team will also reunite with the Elmira Jackals on Saturday night before wrapping up the road trip in Trenton on Sunday afternoon.
Scouting the Royals: Reading comes in this week's action ranked 2nd in the
Atlantic Division with a 9-6-0 record. They're playing some of the best hockey of the season during their last 10 games, posting an 8-2-0 mark. Although they're just 3-3 at Sovereign Center, they've earned a "W" in three of their last four home games. Matt Caruana leads the Royals in scoring, amassing 12 goals and 7 assists while Ben Gordon ranks second with 15 points (3 goals, 12 assists).
Thankful for Thanksgiving-Week Games: Cincinnati has found some great success during this time of year. Since the 2006-07 season, the ¬ËClones are 7-1 in games played during the week of "Turkey Day."
