KELLY CUP EASTERN CONFERENCE QUARTERFINALS - GAME 4

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: With back-to-back wins under their belt, the Cyclones are back home tonight for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals as they welcome the Toledo Walleye to U.S. Bank Arena. The Clones are 21-15 all-time in playoff home games and posted a 1-1-1 record in regular season play against Toledo at 100 Broadway. Leading 2-0 in this best-of-seven series, the Clones have outscored the Fish 7-3.

SCOUTING THE WALLEYE: Nick Vitucci's club slipped to 1-5 in postseason action by dropping both games last weekend. Joey Martin and Trevor Parkes each posted a goal and an assist in the two-game set at Huntington Center to lead the team. Their leading scorers from the regular season, Willie Coetzee and Kyle Rogers, have been held scoreless so far. The Walleye did, however, receive a major offensive shot in the arm with the addition of Andrej Nestrasil. The talented Detroit Red Wings prospect was a point-per-game player with Toledo during the regular season, notching 41 points in 40 games. Goaltender Kent Simpson suffered both losses despite his spectacular play in Game 1. He is 0-2 with a 3.13 GAA during the postseason. Jordan Pearce, who played the final 11 minutes on Saturday, is officially without record after making two saves on two shots.

Willie Returns: Earlier this week, forward Garrett Wilson was reassigned to the Cyclones by the San Antonio Rampage. The second-year pro had 29 points (19g, 10a) in 38 games while in a Cincinnati jersey plus 5 points in 26 AHL games. Despite missing 26 Cyclones games, he still finished second on the team in goal scoring.

Hats Off For Pacan: On Saturday in Game 2, Cyclones rookie David Pacan accomplished an impressive feat. With his hat trick (and four point night) in Toledo, he became just the second Cincinnati player ever to register a playoff hat trick. Mac Faulkner was the only other Cyclone to notch a three-goal playoff game on April 26, 2009 against Elmira.

Leading by Example: Cyclones captain Mathieu Aubin was the team leader against the Walleye during the regular season, notching eight points (3g, 5a) in as many games. Aubin finished 2012-13 with 56 points.
