
Cyclones Announce Partnership with USO

Cincinnati, OH - The Cincinnati Cyclones are delighted to announce a partnership with the United Service Organizations of Central and Southern Ohio (USO-CSO) for this year's Military Appreciation Night, taking place this Friday, November 9, at U.S. Bank Arena. The Cyclones, in conjunction with the USO, will be holding two drives at the game; Operation Bundles of Love, and a general drive for USO-CSO Military Lounges.
Operation Bundles of Love is a new program offered by the USO-CSO for active duty military, guard and reserves members. If a military member has a baby, the USO-CSO will send them a patriotic tote filled with items needed for a newborn baby. Items needed include, but are not limited to, diapers, Wipes (unscented), baby lotion, shampoos, soap, diaper cream, onesies, gowns, t-shirts, bottles, blankets, thermometers, bottles, socks, mittens, pacifiers, and more.
The Cyclones and USO are also hosting a general drive for items to be included in USO-CSO Military Lounges. These items include, but are not limited to, cash donations, Chapstick, dental floss, beef jerky, candy bars, trail mix, breakfast/snack bars, individual bags of cookies/chips/other snacks, energy drinks, individual packs of tuna, and microwavable items such as Kraft Mac & Cheese or soup.
Additionally, Friday's Military Appreciation Night will feature our annual Winter Hat Giveaway, presented by SportClips. The first 3,000 fans through the door will receive a Cyclones camo winter hat. There will also be a special puck drop from local area Navy Seals repelling from the rafters of U.S. Bank Arena, as well as a rendition of God Bless America performed by a member of the United States Army, along with a Color Guard presented by the United States Navy.
