
Cutters swept by Muckdogs

Wednesday night at Susquehanna Bank Park at Historic Bowman Field dropped both ends of a doubleheader to the Batavia Muckdogs 5-2 and 4-1.
In game one, the Cutters only mustered two four base hits and two runs in a 5-2 loss to Batavia. The runs came off former Cutters reliever Ramon Oviedo in the sixth inning when Sean McHugh hit a 2-run double inside the bag at third and down the leftfield line. Jiandido Tromp had two hits for the Crosscutters in the loss.
In game two, the Cutters only managed a run on five hits and committed three errors in a 4-1 loss. Rhys Hoskins plated Jiandido Tromp with a fielder's choice in the bottom of the first inning for the lone Cutters run.
By being swept the Williamsport Crosscutters fall to (26-33) and have lost four games in a row.
