Aberdeen-Vermont Rained out Wednesday

BURLINGTON, VT --- Wednesday night's New York-Penn League game between the Vermont Lake Monsters and Aberdeen Ironbirds at historic Centennial Field was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Thursday, August 14th beginning at 6:05 pm.

The Lake Monsters will make up this game as part of two seven-inning games tomorrow evening. First game will start at 6:05 with gates opening at 5:00 pm. Any tickets marked with today's date (August 13, 2014) will be valid during tomorrow's doubleheader, and include admission into both games.

Additionally, fans can use their tickets as a coupon for another home game this season. Fans who preordered tickets will be asked to call ahead to the Box Office at 655-6611 to arrange another date to come out to the Ballpark. Tickets may not be used as a discount online.

This marks the Lake Monsters first home rainout of the season after 28 straight scheduled games played. Thursday's doubleheader will be Vermont's second twinbill of the season, the other July 6th at Connecticut.
