GAME HIGHLIGHTS: The Williamsport Crosscutters snapped their five-game losing streak Friday with a 4-3 victory over the visiting Batavia Muckdogs.
Batavia's Romulo Ruiz put his team on the board in the first inning with a two-out, two-run homer to make it 2-0 Muckdogs. The visitors added another two-out run in the second, as Reggie Williams delivered an RBI single to increase the lead to 3-0.
The Cutters trimmed the lead to 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, as Cody Asche and Maikel Franco delivered RBI hits in the home half of the inning. Williamsport then took the lead 4-3 with two runs on two hits in the bottom of the sixth, highlighted by an RBI double by Francisco Diaz.
