Curve rally for 5-4 win

BOWIE, MD - The Altoona Curve used a four-run fourth inning to rally past the Bowie Baysox (AA-Baltimore Orioles) 5-4 Saturday night in game two of a four game series at Prince George's Stadium in Bowie.

After trailing 4-1 through three innings the Curve offense came to life with four runs on five hits with four doubles that would give the Curve the lead for good 5-4.

First baseman Miles Durham led the Curve offense with a 3-for-4 night hitting a double with and RBI and a run scored. Steve Lerud and Jason Delaney each doubled going went 2-for-4 and Ray Chang had a 1-for-3 night with two RBIs. Chang has recorded a hit now in all four games he has played in with the Curve since being called up from Lynchburg on July 4th.

2007 Pirates' first round draft pick Daniel Moskos (6-7) picked up his sixth win of the season Saturday. Moskos tossed 5.0 innings allowing four runs on six hits with four strikeouts for his second consecutive win against Bowie. Reliever Michael Dubee picked up his first Double-A save of his career pitching a scoreless ninth.

Altoona (33-56) will try to make it two in a row Sunday in game three of four at Bowie (49-40). Right hander Tyler Herron (0-2, 4.30) will be on the hill of the Curve while Bowie's starter has yet to be named.

First pitch Sunday is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. with radio coverage beginning at 5:50 p.m. on ESPN Radio 1430, WVAM and the Curve Radio Network.
