
Crushers Host Two Fireworks Displays This Weekend; July 4 Game Time Changed

AVON, Ohio - The Lake Erie Crushers will host two fireworks shows at All Pro Freight Stadium this upcoming July 4 weekend during their series against the Evansville Otters, which runs July 2 through July 4. In addition the July 4 game time has been changed from 5:05 to 7:05.
The first fireworks display will come after Friday's game, which is scheduled for a 7:05 first pitch. Friday also marks the first of the three games the Crushers will don their patriotic red, white and blue jerseys. The Crushers staff will also have a patriotic theme throughout the weekend, celebrating America's birthday with on-field promotions as well as music.
Saturday is another giveaway night at the ballpark. The first 1,000 fans to arrive at All Pro Freight Stadium will receive a Crushers baseball card set courtesy of Lorain National Bank and The Morning Journal. Make sure to arrive early to ensure you get a set with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. and gates opening at 6:00 p.m.
The Sunday, July 4 game gets started at 7:05 p.m. and will feature the second fireworks show of the weekend after the game. The City of Avon will have its display after the game and fans are invited to stick around what promises to be a spectacular fireworks extravaganza. The Crushers will also auction off the red, white and blue patriotic jerseys following the game.
