
Crunch Sign Defenseman Tim Filangieri

Syracuse, NY (March 24, 2009) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed defenseman Tim Filangieri to an amateur tryout contract.
Filangieri, 21, appeared in 35 games with Boston College (Hockey East) this season, tallying eight assists and 24 penalty minutes.
A native of Islip Terrace, New York, Filangieri finished up his collegiate career after skating in 157 total games in four seasons at Boston College, collecting three goals, 17 assists and 165 penalty minutes.
The Crunch's next game is Tuesday, March 24 as they travel to Winnipeg to take on the Manitoba Moose at 7:30 p.m. The Crunch return home to the War Memorial at Oncenter on Friday, March 27 to battle San Antonio at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side ofthe War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
