Aeros Lyme Night this Friday, auctioning mask to help fight disease

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros are partnering with the Texas Lyme Disease Association to raise awareness and support for fighting the disease. Fans are asked to wear lime green to the game to show their support for goaltender Nolan Schaefer and his wife Lisa at the 7:35 p.m. game against the Rockford IceHogs. Schaefer is currently auctioning his Lyme mask online on AEROS.com to raise additional funds.

Lisa, has been diagnosed with Lyme Disease and both have been actively trying to raise awareness through their website UNMASKLYME.com. The mask that is up for auction was specifically designed to show his support of the cause and has a lime green tick painted on the back where his autograph is located. The auction is only available online and will conclude Monday, March 30 at 12:01 p.m. so continue to check often to place your bids.

A special Lyme Night ticket offer has been set up where proceeds will be donated to Texas Lyme Disease Association. The Aeros are offering $31 Center Ice seats, which $5 will be donated, and $4 will be donated from the $19 Lower End Zone seats.
