Crunch Recall Left Wing Tim Miller And Return Goaltender Dan Taylor To Gwinnett

Syracuse, NY (October 24, 2009) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have recalled left wing Tim Miller and returned goaltender Dan Taylor to Gwinnett (ECHL).

Miller, 22, appeared in one game with the Crunch last season, tallying his first professional goal on April 11 vs. Rochester. He has also skated in four games with Gwinnett (ECHL) this year, recording one goal, one assist and 19 penalty minutes. A native of Davisburg, Michigan, Miller was signed by the Crunch to an American Hockey League contract on October 1, 2009.

Taylor, 23, has appeared in 38 combined American Hockey League games since 2007-08, all with Manchester, going 20-9-4 with a 2.50 goals against average, .909 save percentage and four shutouts. A native of Plymouth, England, Taylor was selected by Los Angeles in the seventh round, 221st overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed by the Crunch to an American Hockey League contract on October 1, 2009.

The Crunch host I-90 rival Rochester on Saturday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
