
Aeros Gameday: Rampage Host Aeros Tonight

The Houston Aeros (3-4-0-0) hit the road after a season-long five-game homestand to play the San Antonio Rampage (6-2-1-0) tonight, 7:00 PM at AT&T Center. The Aeros went 2-3-0-0 on their recent homestand which included a 5-2 victory over the Rampage last Friday (10/16). AEROS NOTES: The Aeros are coming off a 1-0 shutout loss to Lake Erie on Wednesday night (10/21). G Anton Khudboin made 33 saves in the losing effort and fell to 3-2-0 on the season. The Aeros have now scored one goal in the past two games after a 5-1 loss to Texas last Saturday (10/17).
Aeros RW J.M. Daoust leads the team with four points (1-3=4), he scored his first goal in the 5-1 loss vs. Texas (10/17). LW Peter Zingoni leads the Aeros with three goals 19 different players have recorded a point for the Aeros this season including 16 on the active roster; Andy Hilbert (recalled by Minnesota), Nathan Smith (recalled by Minnesota) and RW Craig Weller (traded to Boston) are the other three players that scored one point this season.
RAMPAGE NOTES: Despite being shutout last night, the Rampage lead the AHL in goals with 33 and rank fourth in the league at 3.67 goals per game. D Sean Sullivan leads the team with 10 points (2-8=10) but will not be in the lineup tonight after being recalled by Phoenix yesterday. LW Brett MacLean (5-4=9), C Kyle Turris (4-5=9) and C Kevin Porter (2-7=9) each have nine points this season. MacLean and C Joel Perrault lead the team with five goals.
G Al Montoya made 33 saves in the loss last night to Hamilton and fell to 4-3-0 on the season. He gave up four goals on 29 shots in the loss in Houston (10/16).
