Emerson Etem skated past Crunch defenders after receiving a feed from Dave Steckel and flipped the puck into the back of the net on the breakaway to give the Admirals the lead at the 5:26 mark. Max Friberg extended the lead 54 seconds later. Friberg took a shot from the left circle off a pass from Jesse Blacker that ricocheted off the right post and past Gudlevskis. John Kurtz picked up the secondary assist.
