Crawdads Weekly - More Than 10,000 Fans Come out for Opening Weekend

HICKORY, NC- More than 10,000 fans came out for Opening Weekend to see the Crawdads play the Asheville Tourists! Tonight, to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the very first Hickory Crawdads game, this one's on us! The Crawdads will be offering FREE Grandstand tickets for tonight's game at 6 p.m., gates open at 5 p.m.! Hickory takes on the Intimidators at L.P. Frans Stadium for a 3-game series before heading back on the road to Savannah this Thursday.
The 'Dads are 6-5 through the season's first three series and are in a four-way tie with Delmarva, Hagerstown, and Kannapolis for second place in the Northern Division standings, trailing Greensboro by one game.
