Coyotes Sign Dylan Reese

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed defenseman Dylan Reese to a one-year two-way contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 30-year-old Reese appeared in one game with the Coyotes last season and registered 10-30-40 with a plus-12 rating in 72 games with the Portland Pirates.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound native of Pittsburgh, PA has totaled 3-14-17 and 40 penalty minutes (PIM) in 78 career NHL games with the Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders. Reese has amassed 31-130-161 with a plus-19 rating and 274 PIM in 398 AHL games with the Pirates, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Syracuse Crunch, San Antonio Rampage and Hartford Wolf Pack.

He was originally drafted by the New York Rangers in the seventh round (209th overall) in the 2003 Entry Draft.
