
Coyotes Recall Chris Summers from San Antonio

(GLENDALE, ARIZONA) - Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled defenseman Chris Summers from the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate.
In 44 games with the Rampage this season, the 6-foot-2, 208-pound Summers has registered one goal and seven assists for eight points. Summers has played in every game for San Antonio and has posted 40 penalty minutes and a plus-6 rating.
Last season, the 22-year-old native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, played in six games with the Rampage, registering one goal. Summers was drafted by the Coyotes in the first round (29th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
