For the third time in span of four games the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Cincinnati Cyclones. On the season, the K-Wings are 4-1-0-0 against the Cyclones, which includes a record of 1-1-0-0 at the U.S. Bank Arena.

Kalamazoo heads to the "Queen City" looking to extend a streak. The K-Wings are unbeaten in regulation in their last three road games, which ties a team season-high. Tonight will also start a stretch of five straight games against the North Division for Kalamazoo.

Remaining home for the holiday's, this evening will be game two of a four-game home stand for the Cyclones, which will include two games against the K-Wings. With a record of 7-1-0-2, Cincinnati owns the best home record in the ECHL.

Bootland Suspended

Forward Darryl Bootland has been suspended two games by the ECHL for his actions during the K-Wings game last Saturday versus the Elmira Jackals. Bootland will miss Kalamazoo's game tonight against Cincinnati and Friday versus Toledo.

The K-Wings made their annual visit to the Bronson Children's Hospital yesterday. Slappy and Santa Claus joined Sam Ftorek, Taylor Ellington and Elgin Reid in delivering some of the bears that were donated during the K-Wings 12th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game last Saturday.

Defenseman Sam Ftorek starts the week on an impressive point streak. Ftorek has earned points in four straight games.

Winning the Close Ones

Kalamazoo's 4-3 loss to the Elmira on Saturday marked the first-time this season that the K-Wings lost to a team in regulation by a single goal. On the season, the K-Wings are 7-1-0-2 in games decided by a single goal.
