Dainton, Henningson Back from AHL

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced today that goaltender Paul Dainton has returned to the Chicago Express from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Falcons. Defenseman Dan Henningson was also returned on loan from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Dainton rejoins Chicago after being recalled to the Falcons on December 7, missing the last seven Express games. Prior to his call up, the Halifax, NS, native appeared in 11 games with Chicago, posting a 4-2-0-1 record. The 5-11, 185 pound netminder earned the first, and so far the only, shutout in Express history when he recorded a 27 save shutout against the Toledo Walleye on the Sears Centre Arena on October 29. Dainton has a 3.12 GAA and .905 save percentage, which leads the Express, so far this season.

Henningson comes back to Chicago after being loaned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on December 6, and has also missed seven Express games during that stint. Henningson played five games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, totaling one assist and two PIM to go along with a +2 rating. The 6-1, 190 pound defenseman began his pro career with the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL, playing 10 games with Monsters scoring one assist and accumulating four PIM. With the Express this season, Henningson has played 18 games, earning three points (1g-2a) and eight PIM.

Chicago is back at the Sears Centre on December 30 and 31, and January 1.
