K-Wings Add Four

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL, two-time defending North Division Champions, reigning Eastern Conference Champions and National Hockey League affiliate to the Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils and American Hockey League's Albany Devils, announce the signing of forwards Dustin Cloutier (cloo-tee-AH) Alan L'Esperance (LES-per-ance) Rob Sich and Matt Whitehead; per team policy, terms of the contracts will be undisclosed.

Cloutier joins the K-Wings after the season the season in the Southern Professional Hockley League (SPHL) with the Augusta RiverHawks. Cloutier posted 33 points (10 goals, 23 assists) in 20 games, with the RiverHawks.

Before turning pro, Cloutier was a four-year standout at Bentley University.

After playing last season at Michigan Tech University, L'Esperance comes to Kalamazoo. L'Esperance played in five games last season for the Huskies.

Sich joins the K-Wings after starting the season in the SPHL with the Mississippi RiverKings. In Mississippi, Sich posted 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists).

A seven-year pro, Sich's best season as a professional was back in 2000-10, where he registered 98 points (63 goals, 35 assists) with the Fayetteville FireAntz.

Sich, who started his career in 2004-05 playing two games in the United Hockey League with the Motor City Mechanics, played his first full season as a pro the following season splitting time with the Flint Generals (UHL) and Florida Seals (SPHL).

A third-year pro, Whitehead started the season in the Central Hockey League with the Bloomington Blaze. Most recently, Whitehead was the SPHL with the Fayetteville FireAntz.

Last season with the Pensacola Ice Flyers, Whitehead recorded 62 points (27 goals, 35 assists) in 56 games.

Before turning pro, Whitehead played collegiate hockey at Oswego State, where he was a member of the Lakers 2006-07 National Championship team.

Kalamazoo will hit the road tonight, Wednesday, December 21st for a 7:35 p.m. encounter against North Division rival, the Cincinnati Cyclones at the U.S. Bank Arena.

The K-Wings will return home this Friday, December 23rd with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Toledo Walleye on Frugal Fan Friday, featuring $1 Beers, $1 Pepsi products and $1 Hot Dogs. Prior to Friday night's game, the K-Wings will unveil a new award named after the first-ever player and captain in K-Wings history, Al Genovy.

Single-game tickets for the upcoming 2011-2012 season are on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, please call Wings Stadium Ticket Office during regular business hours at (269) 345-5101.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are $12.90 and $16.90 for adults, $11.90 for seniors (62 years and older) and military (with proper ID) and only $6.90 for kids ages 12 and under. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games and New Year's Eve game) are just $1 more. Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single game tickets in advance because tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $1.
