Starting a home-and-home series in the "Queen City" the Kalamazoo Wings will travel to the U.S. Bank Arena to battle the Cincinnati Cyclones. On the season, the K-Wings are 2-1-0-0 against the Cyclones with each team thus far winning on their own home ice.
Tonight will conclude a brief two-game road swing for the K-Wings. Including tonight, Kalamazoo has played six out of their last seven games away from Wings Stadium. Kalamazoo starts the night in first place in both the North Division and the ECHL's Eastern Conference.
Entering the game as the hottest team in the Eastern Conference, the Cyclones are unbeaten in their last four-games, earning a record of 3-0-0-1 during that stretch. With a record of 6-0-0-2 at the U.S. Bank Arena, Cincinnati is also the last unbeaten in regulation home team at remaining in the league.

Kalamazoo's shootout victory over the Toledo Walleye was their first shootout victory in over a year. Prior to Sunday, the K-Wings last shootout victory was back on October 24, 2010 versus the Cincinnati Cyclones, a span of nine shootout games.

Lately, the K-Wings have had their fair share of overtime/shootout finishes. Kalamazoo's last three games have been decided in either overtime or a shootout.
