Watt Called up to Manchester

ONTARIO, Calif.- The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announced today that J.D. Watt has been recalled by the Reign's AHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs.

Watt, 24, was assigned to the Reign by Manchester on Oct. 5, 2011. The right winger has played in all 22 regular season games with the Reign this season recording seven points (1g, 6a) and 66 penalty minutes.

The Cremona, Alberta native is no stranger to the AHL as he has spent time in the league since 2008, appearing in 149 contests and tallying 21 points (10g, 11a). Watt has skated with the Abbotsford Heat for the majority of his time in the AHL, 97 games. He played with the Quad City Flames for 42 games, and the San Antonio Rampage for 10.
