
Countdown To Face-Off

Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the just the second-time this season the Kalamazoo Wings will face-off against the Johnstown Chiefs. Kalamazoo defeated Johnstown 4-3 in overtime back on January 6th. This evening is the Chiefs lone appearance at Wings Stadium, while the K-Wings will return to Cambria War Memorial on March 3rd.
The K-Wings start the night tied with the Toledo Walleye for third place in the North Division and two points behind the Wheeling Nailers for second. So far on the season, the K-Wings have faired well against teams from the East Division, earning a record of 8-1-0-0.
Off the heels of back-to-back shootout victories, Johnstown enters Wings Stadium on a two-game overall win streak and a three-game road win streak. On the season, the Chiefs are 6-9-4-1 in games versus the North Division.

Defenseman Jon Landry has been productive at the blue-line for Kalamazoo. Landry has earned points (2 goals, 4 assists) in six of his last seven contests.
Home Sweet Home
Earning a shootout loss last Friday versus Cincinnati, Kalamazoo extended their unbeaten streak in regulation at Wings Stadium to seven games (6-0-0-1). The seven-game home unbeaten streak is a season-high for Kalamazoo.
