The final weekend of the United Hockey League's regular season starts tonight, as the Kalamazoo Wings travel to St. Charles, Missouri to face-off against the Missouri River Otters. The K-Wings are 3-1-1 against the Otters this season; however, they are 0-1-1 at The Family Arena.

Kalamazoo enters the game on a UHL high six-game winning streak. With just two games remaining in the regular season, the K-Wings are tied with Muskegon for first-place in both the league and the Central Division.

Though they are eliminated from playoff contention, the River Otters could have a say in the playoff picture. After playing the K-Wings tonight, the River Otters will finish off their season tomorrow at home against Richmond, who enter the weekend tied with Motor City for the eighth and final playoff seed

On a Roll

Kalamazoo will be looking to extend their UHL high six-game winning streak. The K-Wings come into The Family Arena tied with the Muskegon Fury for first place honors in both the league and the Central Division.

A Historic Night

The K-Wings victory Wednesday (4/12) versus Adirondack was a historic one for the franchise. The win established franchise single-season UHL records for overall wins (51) and home victories (27). It was also meaningful night for goaltender Joel Martin. The victory, which was Martin's 35th of the season, established the K-Wings record for goaltender victories in a single-season.

An Even Dozen

Forward Jason Deitsch is currently on a K-Wings' high 12-game point streak. Deitsch, who leads all UHL rookies in scoring with 85 points (36 goals, 49 assists), has recorded at least one-point in 32 of his last 33 games.

"Ruffing" It

Defenseman Lee Ruff leads all UHL defenseman in shooting percentage at 14.3%. Ruff has split time this season both at defense and at forward.
