For the second time this weekend, the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Muskegon Fury and for the second time this weekend first place will be on the line. The K-Wings enter the game just one point behind the Fury for first place in the Central Division.
After losing to the Fury on Friday, the K-Wings rebounded with a 8-1 victory over Port Huron last night. Kalamazoo will receive a boost to their lineup as both Mike Manley and Josh Elzinga return to lineup. The K-Wings will also try to extend a four-game home winning streak.
The Fury, who fended off the K-Wings on Friday, enter today looking to rebound after a 5-2 loss at home to Missouri. Muskegon brings with them one of the most lethal offenses in minor league hockey. The Fury possesses five of the top twelve scorers in the UHL.

Forward Tyler Willis recorded his sixth game-winner of the season yesterday. Willis, who leads the K-Wings with six game-winners, also tied the K-Wings UHL single-season record for most game-winners.

Finding the Scoring Touch
Forward Nick Bootland enters the game on a four-game goal streak. The four-game goal streak is the longest goal streak by a K-Wings player. The season high for consecutive games with a goal for both the UHL and the K-Wings is nine, held by Jason Deitsch. Deitsch's goal streak concluded last night.
