After defeating the Flint Generals on Wednesday night at Wings Stadium, the K-Wings will hit the road to battle the other top team in the Central Division the Muskegon Fury. Tonight is the third of nine meetings between the teams this year and the first at the L.C. Walker Arena. After defeating the Fury in their final three meetings of the season last year, the K-Wings head to Muskegon winless this year in two games against Muskegon.

The K-Wings come into Muskegon as the only team in the Central Division with a winning streak. Kalamazoo will be looking to extend their winning streak tonight in a building they in which have had recent success. Dating back to last season, the K-Wings have won their last two games at the L.C. Walker Arena. Besides the winning streak, forward Yannick Carpentier will try to become the first K-Wings player this season to register a point in five consecutive games.

The Fury enters the night tied with the Flint Generals for first place in the Central Division. Muskegon is

7-1-0 within their division; however, the Fury have struggled lately, as they are just 3-5-2 in their last 10 games. Despite their recent lull, Muskegon is still one of the top offensive teams in the UHL. On the season, the Fury have outscored their opponents 73-53.

Two K-Wing players reached personal milestones Wednesday night. Both Yannick Carpentier and Greg Labenski played in their 300th career game.

Yannick Carpentier enters tonight's game on a four game scoring and assist streak. The four game scoring streak ties Carpentier for the K-Wings longest scoring streak of the season.

Playing Extra Hockey After just one shootout in their first 17 games, the K-Wings have had three shootouts in their last four games. On the season the K-Wings are 3-1 in the extra session this season.

Winning the Close Game

The K-Wings have found ways to win the close games. The K-Wings are 4-1-1 in games this season decided by one goal.
