Game Preview
Division rivals will square off tonight at the Huntington Center, as the Kalamazoo Wings take on the Toledo Walleye. This evening is the six of 13 encounters between the teams. On the season, the K-Wings are 2-3-0-0 versus the Walleye.
The last time Kalamazoo traveled to Toledo was two weeks ago when the K-Wings defeated the Walleye 2-1 in the ECHL's first ever outdoor game. Starting to heat up, the K-Wings come into the Huntington Center winners of three out of their last four games.
No strangers to streaks, the Walleye are entering tonight trying to extend a four-game (3-0-1-0) unbeaten streak. Since November 22nd, Toledo has been red-hot posting a record of 13-2-2-1. The Walleye begin the night in second place in the North Division, just two points behind the division leading, Fort Wayne Komets.

Heating Up
Two members of the K-Wings are starting the week on fire. Forwards Eric Kattelus and Nathan Longpre each are riding four-game point streaks.
Strong Starts on the Road When the K-Wings hold a lead after the first period they have been tough to beat. Kalamazoo is 7-2-0-0 overall and 5-0-0-0 on the road this season when they start the second period with a lead.
Powering Up
Kalamazoo's power-play has been productive on the road. The K-Wings leads the league with road power-play percentage of 24.5%.
All-Star Bound On Thursday, forward Curtis Valk was named to the ECHL's All-Star Team. Valk will be the K-Wings lone representative at the ECHL All-Star Classic on Wednesday, January 21st in Orlando, Florida.

Toledo's Anthony Luciani enters tonight on a four-game point streak. Luciani has earned eight points during the streak, including four goals in his last two games.

Simply Winning Toledo enters tonight on a four-game (3-0-1-0) unbeaten streak. The Walleye, who are 13-2-2-1 in their last 18 games, suffered their lone regulation defeats in that span on December 12th and on December 27th to the K-Wings.
