Fresh off the all-star break, the Kalamazoo Wings will travel to the Huntington Center to battle the Toledo Walleye. Tonight will be the ninth of 13 meetings this season between the teams. So far, Kalamazoo is 4-3-0-0 overall against Toledo and 2-1-1-0 in games held at the Huntington Center.

The K-Wings will be looking to keep momentum from their last game before the all-star break, a 3-2 home victory over the Fort Wayne Komets. Picking up their play, Kalamazoo has earned points in three out of their last four games (2-1-1-0).

Capping off a five-game road swing before the all-star break with back-to-back victories; tonight starts a three-game home stand for the Walleye. Lightning Fast

On Saturday against Fort Wayne, defenseman John Negrin recorded a goal 2:17 seconds into the game. The goal by Negrin was the quickest recorded by the K-Wings this season, breaking the previous mark of 2:36 also against the Komets on November 3rd at Wings Stadium.

Nearing a Milestone Forward Brett Lysak is closing in a personal milestone. Lysak needs one more point to reach 400 for his career.

Building on the Road

Kalamazoo has been gaining momentum away from Wings Stadium. The K-Wings have earned points in four (3-0-1-0) out of their last five road games.
