GENEVA, Il. - Friday night's game between the Kane County Cougars and Dayton Dragons was postponed by rain before it ever began. It will be made up Saturday afternoon at 3 CT as part of a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games.
The Cougars (15-4), in first place atop the Western Division by one game, are back at Elfstrom Stadium to start a nine-game, 10-day homestand after they went 3-3 on their road trip to Michigan. Scott Mitchinson (2-0) is expected to start Game 1 of the doubleheader followed by Saturday's originally-scheduled starter, Scott Hodsdon (0-2), in Game 2.
