
Loons and River Bandits Rained Out

Great Lakes Loons News Release
DAVENPORT, IA - Severe thunderstorms in the Quad Cities have forced the postponement of today's scheduled game between the Great Lakes Loons and the Quad Cities River Bandits at Modern Woodmen Park.
The game will be made up as a part of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon. Game One will begin at 5:30pm ET with the second game following shortly after the first game's conclusion. Both games will last seven innings in regulation. Right-hander Daigoro Rondon will start the first game for the Loons. Justin Miller, also a righty, will work Game 2.
Quad Cities will counter with left-hander Nick Additon in Game 1. Righty Mark Diapoules will start the second game for the River Bandits.
The game will be carried in Mid-Michigan on the flagship home for Great Lakes Loons baseball, ESPN 100.9-FM, and worldwide at Loons.com.
