Cougars, River Bandits Canceled

Kane County Cougars News Release
GENEVA, Ill. - Monday's contest between the Kane County Cougars and Quad Cities River Bandits has been canceled because of rainy conditions at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark. The game will not be made up as these two ballclubs do not meet up again during the 2013 season.
The Cougars will hit the road for the next six ballgames, beginning on Wednesday night against the South Bend Silver Hawks at 6:05 central time from Coveleski Stadium. Left-hander Michael Heesch (3-7) is expected to be the starting pitcher for the Cougars. The Cougars return to Fifth Third Bank Ballpark on Wednesday, July 17, to take on the Great Lakes Loons at 6:30 p.m. For tickets, please call (630) 232-8811 or visit www.kccougars.com.
