Prince George Cougars News Release
PRINCE GEORGE, BC - The Prince George Cougars and the Prince George Community Foundation are excited to announce the first Mega 50/50 Jackpot Night of the season, coming up on Saturday, October 19th against the Spokane Chiefs.
The guaranteed jackpot is $15,000 and Mega 50/50 Jackpot tickets go on-sale at 12:00 pm on October 19th (Must be 19+; know your limit, play within it). Fans must purchase a game ticket in order to purchase Mega 50/50 Jackpot tickets.
The guaranteed $15,000 Mega 50/50 Jackpot is sponsored by the Prince George Community Foundation and proceeds will be donated to local eligible charities under the Prince George Community Foundation's umbrella. A larger jackpot makes a larger impact in our community.
"Our organization is thrilled to partner with a great organization like the Prince George Community Foundation. Oktoberfest is going to be a great night for our fans, with beer sampling from four local breweries, specialty Oktoberfest jerseys up for auction, and what will hopefully be a huge jackpot," said Cougars' Vice-President, Andy Beesley.
The bigger the crowds, the bigger the Cougars Society Mega 50/50 Jackpot is, which means more money raised for local charities.
"The Prince George Community Foundation is excited to partner with the Prince George Cougars for the 50/50 Mega Jackpot & Oktoberfest night next Saturday," commented Mindy Stroet, Director of Development for the Prince George Community Foundation.
Next Saturday is the first ever Oktoberfest Night at the CN Centre. Fans can sample beer from Crossroads Brewery, Trench Brewing & Distillery, Labatt's, and Pacific Western Brewing. Fans can bid on the Cougars' game-worn Oktoberfest jerseys at www.32auctions.com/oktoberfest19
