
Cougars Fall to Raiders to Start Home-Stand

Prince George, BC - The Prince George Cougars got the scoring started, however, the Prince Albert Raiders rattled off four unanswered goals to give them the victory, Friday at the CN Centre.
Ondrej Becher had the lone goal for Prince George in the setback.
Becher's marker came just over one minute into the game to get the 5,101 fans into excited early. The Raiders then responded with a power-play goal from Hayden Pakkala to even things up after the opening period.
In the second, the Raiders added to their lead with Carter Anderson and Evan Herman both beating Ty Young to give the visitors a 3-1 lead.
Early in the third, the Raiders put the icing on the cake, with Herman scoring his second of the night, this time coming on the man advantage. The Raiders held on to the defeat the Cougars 4-1, on Indigenous Night, and in front of the second best crowd of the season.
